The Kite Runner

The novel was fantastic,
the movie was majestic...
both reading and watching 'The Kite Runner'
made tears trickle down my eyes,
not because i was slicing onions while watching..
but of emotions;unexplained.

a must watch..
i can give it a million stars....for ratings..
but if the person watching it does not appreciate..
something known as friendship..
and love within a friendship..
kinship..
then i believe the effect will be much different..
I just can't help myself, but teared at some touching scenes..
call me emotional..

i wonder whether the second book will be made into a movie..
cos the second novel was more plays with emotions
and also,i teared when i read it..
life is not as beautiful as it looks...

Watched it with Hairul, cos I think he would love the movie..
I am certain he did...
Thereafter,we went jalan2...to Orchard area,
with the intention to visit A.Idris booth at the flea market..
not to buy anything..
but give moral support..
to his spirit of entrepreneurship..
Adore his gallant dreams..
in risk taking..
He will make a good businessman i believe..
someday..

I stopped by to say Hi to a friend of mine..
Avin,not a friend...rather...the bestest ever..
Just to see and put a smile on his face..
there's nothing that interest me to buy at the booth..
so i just said hi...crack some silly jokes(as always)
and left for Idris booth...
It must be really taxing on him and ultimate boredom to just sit there...
and wait for customers..
but I believe Avin is a patient guy...
and neurotic...nonetheless..
he can go thru that...hang on friend..

Me and Hairul went to Idris Flea Market booth...
Informed that the CDs I gave to him sold like hotcakes..
hahahaha..
zhende ma?
Guojiang Guojiang(a stint of my Mandarin flair)
heard that he already covered the rent for this wk's and next wk's..
which means the rest are profits..
good for him..pray that he can make thousands..
or millions(wishful thinking)

Me and Hairul went to Far East Plaza where we ate at Ramen Ten...The food was exorbitantly pricey..
and the portions were horrendously little...
both me and Hairul vowed never to come there again..
it's just not worth the money..

Since Hairul had to work the next day(today)
I left for home....
enjoying Young Folks and Lisa Ono on that cool drizzly night..
watching out of the bus's window..
thinking.........
of..

and for a friend..
who is still down with a uncomfortable flu..
get well soon...
the flu bug is hitting the streets..
need to be careful.
